Drawdown, the rule that ends most accounts

E8 runs a EOD/Dynamic drawdown and FFF runs Intraday Trailing.

Trailing means the limit rises with your equity peak, open positions included: giving profit back can end the account even without a real loss. EOD only recalculates at the session close, which forgives intraday swings.

In practice that is -4% / -8% of room at E8 and 5% trail at FFF.

What entry really costs

The cheapest entry is FFF, from $16.00 with the coupon applied at checkout, against $26.00 at E8.

The discount differs too: 25% OFF at E8 and 80% OFF at FFF.

E8 / FFF charges no activation fee, so the price you see is the full cost up to the funded account.

When the money leaves

On the split, E8 pays 80% and FFF pays 90%.

E8 allows a payout from the first profitable day, which shortens the path between passing and getting paid.

The rules that kill the account

E8 has no consistency requirement, so one strong day counts in full.

FFF enforces a consistency rule (40%), which stops a single day from carrying the whole result.

Minimum trading days: 1 at E8 and 3 at FFF.

E8 explicitly bans: HFT, Latency arbitrage, Hedging entre contas.

Which one fits you

If the goal is testing the model on the smallest possible budget, FFF has the cheaper entry.
